Dunno man, Tomb Raider and Resident Evil were classic when they came out, but now...
Definitely Super Metroid. Mario (1,2,3, World), Zelda (1, LA, LttP, OoT, MM), Sonic (1-3, S&K) also aged pretty well for the most part
Mega Man is still the same
OG Metal Gear Solid was quite enjoyable when I replayed it about 2 weeks ago.
The Square RPGs are still incredible even though they move pretty slowly
Street Fighter 2 is timeless
I still play OG Quake with a few homies every so often. Classic fukking game.

Those games are no doubt classic, but they've aged terribly. I can't even stand to look at Goldeneye and Conkers bad fur day has a bunch of dated ass references.
Goldeneye didn't age well though. Game looks like I vomited a bunch of colors onto the screen.

I saw SF2 listed and I have to disagree. I busted the SNES out a couple days back, and that shyts near unplayable. The response time is just too sloppy, and you can't go back to that shyt and enjoy it, for real. Killer Instinct, however, holds up a lot better
