I see a mixed bag of cats, some who are worried about not appearing their best, other cats making every excuse for why you shouldn't try to date or I guess can't get a date.

And then those who are indeed thinking about bettering finances before they do anything.

How many men on the coli are actually trying to find a woman or date women to find a mate or anything?

I was a few month ago, but I'm good and content with being on my own currently.

Rather be single and have peace of mind than having to deal with someone else's issues and bullshyt.

I'm going to need someone to at least be close to I am financial wise as I'm not trying to have someone be a burden and foot the bill for them. I used to say that money didn't matter in a relationship, but recent situations have changed my mind

I’m in the game. I just know I’m not looking to settle down. I’m not dating with “a purpose” of marriage nor do I want to give up certain aspects of my life and on top have to make those selfless sacrifices in hopes it gets reciprocated.

If shorty is looking for a low pressure relationship were we link up and do fun events and things together I’m down with that.. all the extra that headache that comes with being bf/gf I’m not with it.

I’m married, but I look around at people and listen to people and what I’m hearing is most people are sort of “tired”.

But with social media and “content” being the thing, content needs to constantly be created and you have to push it on people, so people never unplug from it, it’s like mainlining caffeine for years on end, you get burnt out.

Add to that the fact that everything is the most it’s ever been. Everything is the most expensive, we’re working the most hours, consuming the most food, most pollution, everything is “most”. You get burned out sprinting but you have a marathons distance to run.

I don’t forsee dating having a resurgence, it’s likely going to like @I.Go said, most guys are going to just say “I’m not giving up any of my independence, because you really don’t have anything to give me for it.”

But, more women are going to be like “That’s cool with me. I’ll call you when I need some variety.”

So, we got as @Art Barr would say more noncommittal on the horizon.

It's good to be honest. Time is the only non renewable resource we have. Gotta deal with women on the same page. It does seem like people are dating with fear now adays. Like I don't wanna get played so I'm not gonna try.

Yeah, Houston is cool but a lot of women I've been encountering are not really serious. A girl I was dating last year was real cool but I had to end it because I wanted to take things further but she wasn't with it. She said she's too young to settle down even though she's 28.
