i used to feel the same about michael bennett when he turned pro..i thought he would have done something in the pros until sheer jobbers were getting him outta thereI just threw him in there but seriously I think he could have won a title but his confidence was shattered early and he never recovered mentally not that he wasn’t frail already. Being moved (hidden) more carefully and maybe paired with a trainer like Manny Steward (sparring, training, championship environment) is important.

I'm gonna be biased here becuz he's my stepbrother but David Reid. That Trinidad fight not only ruined his career but ruined his life
harrison was prolly the one fighter that dominick guinn didn't let his hands go against and still found a way to loseAudley had all the physical tools and he was a good boxer but man he was about as timid a fighter of his stature could be. Being a gold medalist is a huge accomplishment. He was the anti-Tyson. Opponents would see HE was intimidated and just gain unbelievable courage.

that wasn't going to help...what drove him crazy was he was fighting with a brain injury he got before he turned pro.edwin valero - get him serious psychiatric treatment so he can make his fight with pacman
bojado was justPanchito Bojado had a lot of intrinsic talent but was too undisciplined. Had Floyd Mayweather Sr. constantly upset with how flaky he was. I really think Floyd Sr. could’ve helped make dude a household name.
Michael Grant
Yeah, Bojado showing signs of having “it” factors as a fighter: would have in-ring discipline to not get reckless/resort to brawling, crazy punching power, very tanky, nice natural timing, Ryan Garcia-type of fluid/flexible heavy hands, etc. Dude simply thought and behaved like he was a world champion already and those journeymen fighters who know how to grind weren’t having it. Entitled attitudes do nothing for fighters because the competition is too tough and dangerous. Dude started gangbangin in his 20’s like wtf you doing?bojado was just..mentally he wasn't ready..him and frankie gomez...one in the same...actually gomez was worse...man retired after getting a win over mauricio herrera and had his zero still
grant i thought was brought up correctly...his talent level just never matched his hype...but putting him in the ring with another big fighter in mccline after the lewis whoopin was not good matchmaking
