It breaks my heart that this game never really caught on and knowing that there's no sequel makes it worse.

Wasn’t that basically True Crime: Hong Kong (or whatever city it was in)?

True Crime was a dope series in general, that was wild how they were able to make them so much like NY and LA in the early and mid 00s on a system 3 gens ago

Me personally it would have to be MUA. Not sure if it “flopped” but if it woulda did better we would have more of them. We should have at least like 7 by now. Seem like MUA 3 flopped otherwise we’d have at least 5 (2 more for Switch)

Rebirth being the 9th best selling game this year doesn't mean shyt, if those sales come below internal company expectations even if the consumer still thinks that it's good.

If I'm projected and expected to sell a million copies and only end up selling 800,000, that's still a flop by internal company standards even if you the fan think it's still good a good number.

Company expectations vs fan expectations can have two completely different meanings.

Also, the comment about "failing to meet expectations" was in regards to their entire "HD Games segment" and not FFXVI or Rebirth specifically so a lot of the "ReBiRTH FLOpPED" comments are click bait and misinformation. Nobody knows the development costs and revenue generated from Rebirth or XVI alone so the "flopped" argument you're passing isn't even solid.

Regarding the Fiscal Year as a whole:

I respond to the thread and you quote me and I respond, someone else complains about thread derailment. In the Pro thread, someone called to ban the creator of the thread(Gizmo) because Meach was trolling and you came in there whining afterwards and not calling out Meach and have done this several times in the past. Mind you, I just posted something in the thread and you decided to jump in to argue with me yet you're calling others triggered. Never seen someone so bent on being negative around something he supposedly likes. As soon as I posted in this thread, I KNEW you were going to be one of the first ones to quote me and like bait you did even though you're clearly wrong and are just using uninformed opinions(claiming the game is a commercial failure and using a random person's opinion online as fact) vs information from their actual statements, context and facts that I posted.

Metal arms: a glitch in the system, and battleborn. The latter would have been fine if they didn't fukking poke the blizzard bear. The first was a dope ass game that didn't nearly get enough love.

Also toy robot games. Custom robo, lbx, and gotcha force. All dope games that don't have much appeal outside of Japan.(for lbx' case, it doesn't help that level 5 appears to be run by scatterbrained people)
