Yes, if only. That's a pretty big fukking IF tho. You think a ban on guns or increased gun control would make the millions of firearms in existence go up in a magic puff of smoke? It's really a simple matter of the cat being out of the bag, friend.

Given this fact of life, take a moment to think about what would happen if a ban on guns actually became reality and when you have in society basically two groups of people: A) law-abiding citizens and B) criminals.

Gun violence is a sad thing but you'll just have to chalk that up to cultural differences, along with American infatuation with guns. Show me an instance of cultural change that was effected at any place, any point in time through an act of legislation.

I just watched "Machine Gun Preacher" with Gerald Butler...........I didn't realize it was based on a real story until the credits started......watch that movie from redbox and you will see the gift and curse of guns.........

That's what I was getting at when I was being about people being able to carry concealed weapons.

This dude planned this out VERY WELL. Even if people were allowed to carry all willy nilly like some people on comment sections and message boards everywhere are suggesting, dude would have probably just went HAM even MORE. Like those dudes in LA that one time who were covered from head to toe in armor and shyt.

I don't think gun control is necessarily the way to go, because...
1) America is gun loving nation with a long history of war and conflicts...The right to possess guns is deeply rooted in the fabric of the USA...It's hard to overturn such a tradition, because many Americans believe owning guns is part of being a "true American"...

2) There are already too many guns in the civilian population...It will be damn near impossible to remove all those guns from the streets, the country and the population is too big...Why would one give up one's gun, when the thugs (aryans, bloods, crips, ese, triads and etc) are armed to the teeth...?

I believe if you don't own a gun in the USA, you are a sitting duck...It's only the middle of the year and Chicago has approximately 300 homicides already while Toronto is at approximately 30...

3) There is too much racial and ethnic diversity in the USA for the people to ever feel safe living together, and the American culture of "power and dominance" does nothing to make things better...As long as the white majority feel threaten by the other visible minority groups, they will never give up their rights to bear arms...

Basically, if you are American, just arm yourself, and hope for the best...
