It would be a bloodbath. Thats why I hate it when ppl bring up "if ppl carried guns" argument when some nut goes ham. This isnt 1816 Texas, we dont do shootouts in the middle of stores. The average American citizen isnt about that life. A citizen with a gun will deter pretty crimes but it wont stop those people who've come prepared. Those type of people are about that life.

Colorado is a concealed carry state so im kinda surprised there was no hero in there but i guess with a gas mask, armor and tear gas its difficult to get busy with the enemy. This guy has obviously been playing a lot of call of duty and use those tear gas perks.

I think limiting the production of handguns and rifles would be a good start.

I don't remember the numbers but there's xxx for every person.
The odds are in the favor of something bad happening stolen weapons, murder, robbery, lone gunmen, etc etc


The whole argument if other people were armed is nonsense at the end of the day. It just means more confusion and more bullets.

So because of rare instances where someone is prepare with higher range of armor and artillery people shouldn't be able to protect themselves from more manageable situations?

Sometimes a pearl harbor happens and you can't do anything about it until later but eventually the bad guy will pay.

This would not stop every single gun crime, but it would curb them.

Those situations seem quite rare, faith in amendments in the constitution (ironic) is fine, but it would be foolhardy to ignore the gun lobby's presence in the matter...and their clients the gun manufacturers whose sole interest is to make a profit.

Except, as other countries have demonstrated, curbing access to guns DOES NOT lower crimes, especially violent crimes.

Now, Switzerland, a country where all citizens are given a weapon by the government due to lack of standing army, has one of the lowest crime rates in the world.

People who are motivated and intelligent will always find a way. 9/11 was accomplished with box cutters and fake bombs.

The 2nd Amendment is there so you can protect yourself against your own government if it need be. It has nothing to with criminals, criminal activity, or any other crap. State governments extend the right to use the firearm to protect yourself, home and property.

It has nothing to do with being outpowered, it has to do with the numbers. Citizens outnumber the potential government. Citizens make up the military and police. Look at Egypt, the people were massively outgunned, but had enough willpower to overcome, and a significant portion of it was their military denying to follow orders and siding with the populace.

No one is "busting" guns except criminals who acquire weapons illegally. Check the countries that ban weapons and you'll see that it does not stop their criminals from still having weapons and "busting their guns".

Citizens control those tanks, jets, and weapons. Check what happened in Egypt. If you ever been in the military, you'll realize what you can do with just firearms if you know the proper tactics.
