I mean he did cheat on his wife while she was fighting breast cancer.

When Batista published his autobiography in 2007 he openly talked about the way he had mistreated his wife. 'The Animal' revealed he had cheated on his wife when travelling the road, and spoke of his guilt at not being able to be faithful. This was all the more controversial considering that wife Angie was battling cancer at the time. However, as Batista has pointed out, the personal issue was his - and until you have lived his life, you can't judge him. Despite eventually divorcing, the relationship has improved - "We have really become close again, which we really haven't been in years. I really learned a lot about her, and she learned a lot about me from reading the book. She actually saw things from a different perspective from reading the book. So that was definitely therapeutic."

Dave should thank his lucky stars that his book has kind of faded off into obscurity even though it's full of many eyebrow raising stories.

How much weight does Cena being a bigger wrestling star for over a decade carry over Batista in billon dollar movies? Though Cena's got some hit movies under his belt now.. but still the most popular "character" by far they've done would be Drax.

I am still waiting on cena to have that where gamorra moment.
Or even a mantis lol moment.
Or even the thor is a man moment and chide'n star lord moment.
Or even drax goes ham to kill space creature moment.
Dave is better as an actor with kids.
Dave is a better actor with a sidekick.

I am the guy who first mentioned cena should be a hogun lead drawing wrassler.
when he originally entered the survivor like reality tv show.
Yet dave at this point is just a better actor and been in bigger more significant roles. With significantly funnier parts. Even from start.

Dave was even better than cena in his first role in rza's film.
Dave was a definitive replicant in blade runner.
Dave was a random better bad guy in riddikk.
with an outlandish outfit and hair style.

Cena is the generational actualized draw i said he would be originally. Plus the gimmick of a generation to boot. Including the theme song and great voice over work from ferdinand to a pistachio munching elephant.

I just feel at this point. Dave's higher drawing credits have just given the random fan. Who knows little of wrasslin. More to attach themselves to than cena at this point. Plus no franchise will ever rival gog or avengers for the foreseeable future. So i expect dave to always have a higher draw than cena. Although cena is a large draw as well. I just think dc dave's largest drawing moments and credits.
will dwarf cena's foray into film. Although cena has had considerable drawing power on the silver screen as well. Coupled with cena's generational draw in wrasslin. That eventually never really rival in totality what dc dave's draw is.


I feel this is like comparing hogun and savage in film. Savage was bonesaw and hogun never had a definitive film moment equal to savage as bonesaw. As hogun was the headlining draw in wrasslin. That atypically never works as well. It just is what it is.

Watching a mostly bad but entertaining action movie starring Batista, Final Score, and he’s fairly compelling for not being a very good actor. Kind of makes me think of people who argue that size doesn’t matter in wrestling. There’s a reason Batista got to leave WWE and make movies and why none of the Jamie Noble’s with a push that exist at the top of some organizations can’t.

I think Batista in general is a bigger star outside of the WWE but I don’t expect that to last much longer with Cena getting more and more roles.
