Most of the members here came from one of the most established hip hop sites ever. Just by chances alone you are bound to have artist, up and coming artist and industry heads here. I used to run a fan site for an artist and I know for a fact alot of artist used to check the site out because they were fans of the artist. I stopped believing that artist aren't paying attention and don't go online like they say. At the end of the day they are regular people who like to come online like everyone else. I don't think there are too many paid members here because they always stand out like a sore thumb. If they were here in numbers you wouldn't have to ask who they were. A easy give away is every post they make is about the same artist and usually deals with promo of a particular song/album and is never critical. There is nothing wrong with it if it's done correctly and professionally.

My question is how much do these paid members make? It's got to be cool to make money posting online for artist you already like.

I bet they get paid under the table at minimum wage with free merchandise and CDs. And the pay is probably tax free too. shyt, if that was the case, I'd be a forum plant gladly.

I can name 2 "industry" posters in The Coli. But I don't think they were planted here for any specific artists. I just think they come here everyday to try to stunt on people...

And yes, yes there are industry connected cats here. Big Bizzy the legend has connects to rapradar. There are some underground artists out here who are in the loop and are on there way to success.

Being signed don't mean sh1t though. I don't know who sh1t stain is. U gonna sit there and tell me if a millionaire came and said I wanna put an album out and I'll take care of all the costs u gonna say no. Lol. Foh.
