yeah those were the good ole days..back when the labels and radio REALLY cared about the genre. Back where the artists use to put effort into his/her craft.. unfortunately quality has dropped heavily since then in regards to R&B.. no hate towards other but i aint trying to be forced fed Ella mai, khalid ect as the new faces of the genre

I saw that too, and the Wiz stans were in the thread talking about it defending him going into R&B. The problem imo is that there are rappers trying to sing and singers trying to rap.

Sisqo being a good singer has nothing to with this topic . And a lot of people couldn’t tell the difference between the two. Woody should have been the lead in more songs imo

Did anyone in here actually enjoy Airtight’s Revenge? That album was very experimental and left field. I know it was acclaimed and all but I never could get into it like that.

I only liked Cake and eat it too & Robots. I tried plenty of times but I couldn't dig the rest

Its because of his crippling heroin habit. Dangelo and Maxwell were said to be on drugs too but they made classics before the drugs took over

Van Hunt is underrated. He's not my goat underrated like Rahsaan Patterson is, but I think he's very talented in his own right.
