1. jagged edge gets my vote.

2. blackstreet - the 2nd lineup was dope and prolly sold more records, but they would've been #1 if they kept the original lineup. hell, or even the original-original lineup with the original lead singer from the CB4 joint before dave Hollister even got there.

3. dru hill - that 2nd album was cool but overrated. tough choice, but I cant put them higher than 3.

4. 112 - I don't think they ever really blew people away, but their consistency gets them to #4 . they stayed relevant for nearly a decade.

5. Next - I prefer to listen to them over 112, but 112 had that longevity. 4 & 5 could easily be swapped tho.

1. Dru Hill- I know their second album by heart, one of my favorite R&B albums of the 90s and one of my favorite R&B groups.

2. 112- They were pretty consistent through their career.

3. Blackstreet- I liked this group and loved their first 2 albums.

4. Jagged Edge- Same as 112, but I don't believe they were as good.

I never listened to much of Next, besides the singles.

My issue with these groups were all of their last album or two I wasnt a fan of.

Dru Hil second album was what made them, imo..I love that album, back then and still..

'Real Freak', 'How Deep Is Your Love' (this was one of those just everywhere tracks in 98) I'll Be The One' (simp anthem) 'You Are Everything', 'What Do I Do With the Love', 'The Love We Had Stays On My Mind', the rest were straight...r&b albums are rarely flawless classic, you get your iconic singles and strong album cuts and the rest is filler lol, it was the 90's...

112 - had the biggest, more timeless hits. i listen to more 112 songs to this day as compared to any other group on this list.

Blackstreet - probably had the MOST timeless hits (if that makes sense). before i let you go, and stay...were probably the best songs out of any song anyone on this list made. but they didnt have a lot of songs of that caliber. definitely had the most talented group, overall. these cats came out a few years before everyone else on this list, so i think they're outta place on this list. but i really didnt feel their albums that much.

Dru Hill - their songs were good when they came out. the sound has very little replay value. i dont bump too much dru hill nowadays.

Jagged Edge - these cats had the best albums. overall, probably had the best production.

Next - doesnt even belong on this list...wtf

so its a toss up between jagged edge and 112. ill have to make my own grestest hits cd from both groups and compare. i think im goin with 112 tho.

tru dat. but they were kinda more synonymous with the late '90s era, imo.
