And there are many posts in here which to me are accurate. Brits can do American accents fairly easy in comparison to an american doing a British accent, Brits do a lot of stage work prior to TV and film (not sure if same applies in US?) And British actors are cheaper and dream of Hollywood more as it's more of a longshot. But British actors that we all know are very good it's not like they're trash

Spike Lee had Wesley Snipes, Denzel Washington Halle Berry and Samuel Jackson in his films. He had Laurence Fishburne, Tisha Campbell, Giancarlo Esposito in School Daze.


He even put Denzel's son in his first major film. He has a Black American classic film turned into a Black American Netflix show with Black American actors.

Spike Lee put in work, how about other countries and creatives make their own industries so they don't have to run?

Well I said too many famous Americans are reality stars. Many of then are not even considering actual acting, they just want to be famous.

Most British and Australian.actors struggle to do American accents tho.. you constantly hear folks like Idris Elba accent slipping when he plays Americans..They also tend to stick with doing generic stereotypical accents rather than authentic region specific accents...like every southern accent is an imitation of Foghorn Leghorn...

Those Brit/foreign actors dont get criticised for doing a lazy accent whereas an American.actor would get nitpicked heavily for not being spot on...
