Welp. There goes my mind... cause I’m trying to wrap my mind around the entire concept of the movies being ultimately connected, even taking the commercial out of the equation.
Exactly but im assuming the mars blackmon from the ad does not exist in the do the right thing/ she gotta have it universe..
Because mookie wasnt rich he only delivered pizzas if mookie had a jordan deal he would have been well off and not having to sling pizza for sals

She look better on the show, imo.
5 episodes in and the new season is absolutely terrible.
lack of likeable and interesting characters, poor dialog etc.
i do like Mars though.
the only subplot i'm enjoying is the one with son and his wife.
why is Fat Joe doing a bad Tracy Morgan impression on here ? he wasn't this exaggerated in the first season was he ?
the music choices and the shots they do showing off parts of Brooklyn are the best parts of the show.

Finished this season up last night. Some thoughts.
Low-key this series has some of the baddest women on TV, starting with Nola
. Throw in Clorinda, Opal, Cheryl, Mar's sister. Even secondary characters like the Ear Wave lady that was working with Nola or Greer's new Amber Rose looking girl were 
.
Some of the cinematography was great with and the close-up shots they do on certain actors, Nola in particular were
There is a lot of music in the show, but I do appreciate how they continue to give shine to the artists real quick by showing them after the song
. Did not know Mars actor was in Hamilton and was surprised at how good a singer he is.
I agree with some of the criticisms on the last few pages. Some of the dialogue comes across as really pretentious, forced, or bad at times

My girl watches this show. What kinda IG thot/ bird show is this? Every time I look up this Nola chick is fukking on someone somewhere to the point where its just softcore porn with problackness sprinkled here n there

I can't stand the main character. She is soo unlikable to me. The other friend with the glasses is so sad and pathetic. Mekka is a really good actress. The best on the show by far. They played the hell out of Fat Joe. His character is horrible. The final exhibit was trash and I hated the last picture. I really don't think she is talented. A lot of great nudity. I really like how they made this season very social informative.

didn't even relalize i was watching the last episode until she was sitting on her bed pleased with herself just before they cut to the credits.
didn't really care for any of it outside of the small stuff i've already mentioned.
i liked Divine having a happier ending this time around though.
does this need another season ?
