eh... i loved those first 2 Spider-Man joints
people forget about (or if they even remember) that bullshyt Spider-Man show they had in syndication back in the day
i was fiendin for some Spidey shyt
they delivered. :yeshrug:
for me at least
and I fux with the Amazing joint

I mean I was fiending too breh, hard (pause) but even at the time, his interpretation of the character just never felt right to me. It felt like he got the basic stereotype of peter parker and not the actual character. and of course he had no sense of humor as spider-man. He basically played him as a mute which always always irritated me and when he did make a joke, it was terrible and flat, minus the "I have a knack for that" which was awesome. I loved amazing also

And I loved that live action show breh lol but it was also the thing that was on when I was a kid so I liked it then, there's no way I could stomach it now. It's still why I feel like spectacular spider-man is the best adaptation of that character and his world. It got everything right

The shows
Easily Batman.
The 70s Spider-Man show was limited to the lack of technology and/or effects to have any good lasting impressions about them, although they were somewhat entertaining. The one thing that I can never forgive is Marvel not allowing one of his many colorful villians to guest star.:beli: Just lame street-level hoods.

The Green Hornet had great plots but terrible production values...even for the 60s I'd guess. And from talking to older family members, the only reason they tuned into that was to see Bruce Lee do his thing.
Funny how they seemed to rein him in alot not to outshine the Green Hornet.
Besides that car was God ugly.:mjlol:

I'll take that stuff over all of the gritty, dark and gloomy crap we're fed today. Not every comic book character needs that.
Yeah, The Flash was 90s dope:obama:

Been fukkin with comics my whole life, homie. Nothing wrong with that. It's just escapism.
That's how alot of us growing up learned to read. Kept me outta the streets growing up in the NYC. Not for everyone however :manny:
