Seeing this on Father’s Day with my two daughters, those Gwen/dad scenes had me

What a brilliant sequel. This is easily a top 10 franchise of all time.

But yeah the movie will definitely win the oscar in the animation category. Nothing else will come close this year.

Beyond can also probably win next year and if it's that good they may have a shot to win the oscar for Best picture or at least get the nomination. But still we're likely witnessing a three peat for animated movies, which is well historical. The academy loooves this kind of narrative.
