Just to preface we agree Miguel is misreading the situation and Gwen refutes his argument
Spot took the spider by logic would be so-called "breaking canon". It did not. Also, Blonde haired Spiderman saving Miles was before the machine was activated. Spider-man almost put the chip in to deactivate the machine but the PROWLER stopped him. So, saving Miles didn't affect anything because his uncle was supposed to be there to begin with even without Miles. Miles outside thought about HELPING HIM but then IMMEDIATELY CHANGED HIS MIND saying "who am I kidding I should not do that". Further points he DID NOT WHATSOEVER INTERVENED. Sop the whole fight between the Green Goblin & the Prowler, it was all BEFORE THE MACHINE WAS ACTIVATED and without any interference whatsoever with Miles. And don't see Miles falling was the breaking canon, because if Miles wasn't there, the Prowler would have still stopped Spider-Man to deactivating the machine and the Green Goblin still would have pinned Spider-Man before Kingpin told them to activate the machine. ALL OF THAT WOULD HAVE HAPPENED REGARDLESS.
This makes no sense. It doesn’t matter when he interacted with Miles. The fight was already going on with Goblin when Miles showed up. He heard Spidey talking and that’s why he went over to where he was.
Spidey stops fighting to save him. He could have used that time to put the key in before Prowler showed up. He was inches away from putting it in. Those seconds saving Miles mattered. Spidey wasn’t going to let a civilian die. He had to stop and help Miles.
it’s like when a outfielder misses catching a ball because a fan sticks their hands up causing an obstacle. The fan became apart of the action no matter how minuscule.
The machine overloaded, blonde-haired Spider-Man was too weak to do anything, and the ONLY OTHER INTERACTION was him giving the chip to Miles. And again, that did not break canon. Nor would it make a difference because had Miles not been then, Peter Parker STILL would have been killed. The chip would of been irrelevant because of the fact it was never used anyway. The other Spider-Man, Peter N. Parker, Gwen Stacy and all of them STILL would have come through. All of that STILL would have happened.
The other Spidermen were there. That’s what Miguel is saying.
You can’t make that argument, even if Peter had died which is debatable , the point was the key needed to get to the right hands. If Peter just limped home to Aunt May’s and died the other Spidermen were there. Kingpin didn’t have the key to stop the collider. Miles broke it when he tried to train. Something the other Spider people wouldn’t have needed to.
The Spot’s inciting bagel incident at Alchemex wouldn’t have happened. Peter B Parker’s hands were full with the computer. It only happened because Miles was there( which again, only happened because Miles broke it).… so he’s responsible for Spot and the collider shutting down wrong. Peter B Parker was ready to sacrifice himself to get everyone home. He only didn’t because Miles was there. So it again, shut down wrong because Miles was there.
