The Sony Producer/Amy Pascal says the move is a love story between Miles and Gwen.
The co-director added more details that it's a love triangle between Miles, Gwen, andSpider-Punk (black British Spider-man) aka Daniel Kaluuya's character
That said, I don't think it's any coincidence that they downplay/omit this in the trailers, or strategically cast a black Jessica Drew (Spider-Woman / Issa Raye).
Like what some of yall mentioned, not a peep when it comes to Ariel but with Miles the marketing gotta let it be known this is not a black-woman hating movie nor is the plot about plowing a becky at the end

which is laughable because her character will most likely be happily Boo'd Up with a white Spider-Man with Miles and Gwen ultimately ending tragically

i would say its the best version of miles seen, but i also think miles is normally pretty boring of a character

When Oliver Coipel originally designed the character, it was supposed to be for Spider-UK, but the editor thought the design was too punk for Spider-UK and turned him into Spider-Punk.
Making him British in this film may be a nod to his real-life origin

I like both comic and spider-verse Miles, but I'd say
1. Spider-Verse Miles
2. Comic Miles
3. PlayStation Miles
Really, i think spider-verse Miles is simply an S-class character from costume to personality to character model.
Hell, similar to Gwen i feel like after this sequel i'm going to find the movie versions of a lot of these other spider characters superior to their comic counterparts.

Finn was in a coma after getting injured trying to save Rey and she only gave him a sympathy kiss on the cheek for his troubles.
And that's all he got for running behind her for a whole movie
But she made out with Darth Vader Jr within 10 minutes of meeting him
As for Miles and Gwen she's definitely hitting him with a fist bump, a church hug and a let's keep in touch buddy at the end of the film.

I’m saying lol I’ll be surprised if they kiss. Like you said Miles about to be hit with. A fist bump, church hug, cheek kiss, or a high five. They is not about to allow an interracial kiss. Between a BM, and a WW in one of the biggest superhero franchises.
