Spectre: Bond 24 Official Thread

For me this movie has 2 poor elements

1. Casting of the villain, all three of them
2. Too much globetrotting for no reason, even tho they picked great locations

I think its better then QoS, on par with CR, worst then Skyfall

The movie was okay. I knew going into that it couldn't top skyfall. The villain wasn't that good and the bond girl was kind of random. The opening sequence was great. I thought Bond's apartment would've looked way better since he saves the world for a living. They really didn't give moneypenny much to do. Q is such a computer wiz that I'm surprised that they didn't make him a field agent. Overall I was entertained, but it was just okay.

lol @ people only just now finding out about that podcast in @MartyMcFly's sig. I've been steadily, and happily, ignoring that shyt since day one.

i don't know what people are complaining about. sure there were a couple of goofy scenes, like the one were the building collapses and bond lands safely on the couch, but i think they did this on purpose, as a kind of nod to the roger moore era. i loved the opening tracking shot and the car chase with hinx in rome and a lot of the movie worked really great with the score. the only thing that bothered me was bond and dr. swann falling in love, because it just came out of nowhere. but still, this movie looked great and was way better than skyfall. i don't know how people who loved skyfall with it's bullshyt third act can complain about spectre. at least spectre managed to stay coherent, instead of turning into a whole different movie at the end.

I saw this last night, it was ok with me and it was better than QoS. It's probably about even to Skyfall to me. One thing I did like about this movie is they tied in the continuity from the previous movies which is always good that Bond finally went full circle. Casino Royale is still my favorite Daniel Craig Bond flick though. I wonder if he will fulfil his contract with one more movie, or will the producers look elsewhere with a new actor?
