I'll say this. Batiatus, DOCTORE, and ASHUR are some of the best characters in TV history. Batiatus is up there as one of the GOAT villains. But, SPARTACUS ain't touching GAME OF THRONES. It's a couple notches below it.

don't say that. You will be considered a nerd if you recognize a great show and a potential GOAT. We have History buffs in this forum that can quote Pluto and enlightened you on the events of Spartacus You are crazy to say that Game of Thrones which most of the critics rank above Spartacus..... is better. You are crazy to choose the better story,backstory,plots,characters,politics,wars,deception and viewing experience. Ramming cocks in ass every episode and CGI/ green screen fighting is definitely better than GOT. I mean.... the 5 main characters (Sparty,Crixus,Gannicus,Navea,Agron) stay beasting on 70 Roman soldiers at a time is not fantasy. Because GOT is fantasy it cant even compare to the historical facts the whole Spartacus series , therefore making Spartacus the better show

I prefer my GoT 1v1s. Practical, more realistic and none of that dramatic slo-mo, easy slicing, pomegranate juice blood flying/spraying, and epileptic camera shaking shyt.

I prefer GoT's fight choreography over Spartacus. I still enjoy the fight scenes in Spartacus but there are certain styles of shooting that I like over the other.

I'm a big fan of Martial Arts films but I appreciate the non-special affects fights way more (i.e Jackie Chan, Tony Jaa, some Donnie Yen) over the wireworks or CGI fights.

the only time the CGI was just utterly bad was the first episode and ill come out and say that for sure. but after that this show has been arguably the best shyt ive seen on tv since the wire and with a strong finale...maybe better new spartacus isnt quite the same kind of actor as Andy but hes shined this season

i will say this tho, GoT doesnt have a character on their show that put the work in that Batiatus or Ashur(the goat ) has

I've made it to episode 9 of the first season...I will admit the show has definitely gotten better...enough for me to actually finish. Although I still think game of thrones is more my speed and more intriguing given the complexity of the story, I apologize for insinuating that this show is "trash" ..its definitely decent.

I will finish this season before the goat arrives tomorrow night.
