The OG soundtrack is a classic

you're alienating the og fanbase by saying this...easier and more financially acceptable to be diplomatic and say you're continuing the legacy of the first

I don't think that has an effect like that. If people liked the first and the newer is hyped up to be better it'll probably heighten their intrigue to watch it more than them sitting at home/not watch because they're somehow offended.

It's funny that there's so much outrage over Pepe Le Pew getting cut from Space Jam 2, yet nobody seems to remember that in the original, he only had one gag (scored 2 points) and then was relegated to a background character for the rest of the film.
