I don't get the point of this it sounds like software emulation, the grit isn't "real" per say.

I did the Pepsi challenge with this app next my real SP and the exact same samples straight from vinyl. It was on point.

They need to match sample rate, bit depth and use convolution to model the filters....

But I get it in terms of workflow...

There's an accurate emulation of the MPC2000XL... Called VMPC....downloaded it cause I wanted to see what working with the machine would be like....
