Sorry, but this man has put countless hours in to build an independent clone that is near identical in sound. All praise goes to him.

Pete doesn't even use the SP anymore. So to say there wouldn't be a draw without him is lie.

Stop.

The draw and lore of the Sp comes from that wrinkle of time.
when shut'em down remix rocked.

the first talk indepthly from samplers to make them popular hardware came from that time.
befor that the tr808 could be linked to ultra mag and bdp.

just like the asr is linked to rza in legacy.

no other producer or entity is responsible.
for the legacy of those machine except those rap producers.
especially when you get into how demonstrative the industry and all audiophiles were against any tech for that era.

Boardwalk and Park Place
Peep the title "RETURN"

The album contains fifteen tracks that are instrumentals that were produced between the years 1990-98.

This is dated. Very dated like being on version 2.0 while everyone is on 12.5.

Most people wanting a SP weren't even listening to PE, some probably weren't born.

The allure of the SP derives from the Analog vs Digital wars in the early 2000s. This is much bigger than hip-hop.
