come on man....that was a terrible "beat-making" video. we didn't see him making any of that shyt...not even drawing in the notes. basically we saw his piano roll on a few parts and him sort of arranging it as nodded his head a lot.

how you can big that up and try to shyt on those 'against the clock' guys is beyond me. i guess if you're just a fan and not coming from experience actually creating music...i could see it. cuz otherwise, even you don't like their stuff (or their race lol), as far as actual beat-making is concerned...not only could you see how they shytted all over @Young/Nacho\Drawz video but you'd have some appreciation for dudes actually playing instruments and even doing some sound design in real time.

but if you wanna keep it so narrow that it's strictly hip-hop and strictly black, @Cal Cutta put up youtube vids that destroyed the southside shyt too.

we can argue about the final product...that's totally subjective. but in terms of seeing the process of a beat being created? objectively, every other video compared to the op's was vastly superior.

Not sure why you went out of your way to mention me but please don't do it again. I'm not bigging anything up in fact I've already stated the reason why I posted the video. I'll go a step further and say that actually I despise trap music so obviously it's not about bigging anything up. I'm not taking anything away from the other videos either my point was that I felt he could have started another thread for them. There is no reason why we should have to pit one style/video against another or even have an argument over this. Enjoy the video for what it is and move on.

as far as the other stuff is concerned, don't take it too seriously, whenever someone posts a thread with a video/gif/vine/etc, it doesn't matter what the content is but it pretty much always ends up with other people posting similar shyt. and now i'm getting what you were aiming for... but to be real though, i still think that wasn't much of a 'beat-making' video...i'm sure you could find better examples where you can see the actual process.

but again, to your point, i should've tagged @ODOT META instead cuz he was the one getting pissy about what i addressed in that post. my bad.
