FACT has been doing "Against the Clock" for a while now and there are some way better vids than this:

FACT Magazine: Music News, New Music.

These 3 are all good:

All of those cac'd out synth producers kinda suck to me bro, how was this better? They moved buttons around? It's more entertaining to watch? The beats sure ain't better, even within their own genre.

I'd rather hear some Dj Rashed and actual brehs from chicago (or detroit) making electronic music. fukk is this noisy european remix shyt?

To each their own...I love FL but I wasn't feeling *that* Southside beat. Lex did a good one, this one's well known, you've probably seen it:

That Benjamin Damage beat is dope as hell, esp. for the process used and the time it took. The MNDSGN beat isn't my style but I was very impressed with how complete it sounded in 10 mins, coming from hardware and live keys. I see you were feelin' the Ducktails. That one also isn't my speed but I was also impressed with the speed/process. I posted those specifically to show different styles, techniques.

Here's the Chicago ones:

lol exactly. I posted this because first off it's hip hop, second of all because he was using FL Studios and thirdly because it was similar to the rhythm roulette series that everyone enjoys. Don't know why this dude trying so hard to hijack this thread, go start another one.

The X6 which is dated. Only gonna keep it because I have a bunch of great samples on there and I can use it as a midi keyboard.

I hope FL has an easy learning curve. Software intimidates me :old:

Youtube videos help a lot when you get started. But, looking through the manual helps the most.
