There is a difference but it can intersect. You can be both. Or one or the other.

I think this is where you get into the most trouble.
When you mix a general level of ignorance about gender vs sex vs sexuality and internet message boards which are a notoriously poor forum for meaningful communication, you get the overwhelming amount of negative feedback that you've gotten on here since disclosing your intersex/trans status.
