-PW Botha declared a state of emergency on South Africa in the 80s.
-The treasury was looted by Boers before they handed over the reigns.
-Major state owned entities were privatized.

I'm not defending the ANC, they are terrible and screwed up the country even worse.
But providing a thorough context is important.

Do you want me to provide you with thorough links and sources or just Coli arguments?
Any links you have would be much appreciated. Really interested in learning more.

we give cacs too much credit on here.. like there isn't a strong lust for mixed people amongst brehs. that class creates itself with the right social settings and this has happened in places with no cacs like Sudan...

"cacs did it to us" constantly being the default go to explanation for everything is tired. it also suggest we are rather weak and exploitable. coloreds had to accept being a buffer class and they did it proudly. just like Indians did in Africa and the Caribbean. Inherent weakness

are we not still judging success, affluence by white proximity? where you live, where your kids go to school, who you date when you have money. look at us chasing it. wasn't "done to us"

nikkaz better learn self value and cut the excuses.
I think the theories of Dr Frank B Wilderson III on Anti-Blackness would provide further context as to why these non-white, non-black groups act like this.

In SA coloreds gladly play buffer for whites, but it's a symbiotic dynamic where the mixed breeds and the whites both know what they're doing and play their roles accordingly

oh that terrible Mandela it's all his fault

:mjlol:

you on your own going down this road. busy looking for scapegoats and rewriting history... best of luck

I have heard the same from others.

Mandela was a great "face" but in reality did little to change the economic in balance that the apartheid created.

politics is full of compromise.

once you in that realm you no longer a revolutionary. doesn't mean he sold his people out. saying he did little in HINDSIGHT IS FOUL and egregious

people have to start understanding how the world works. he did what he could. instead of stepping on his legacy to shyt on it use it as a foundation. that's what should be done. going back to rewrite his legacy is a waste of time and effort. pinning him as some sellout is misguided. I've studied all the African leaders who stood post colonialism and the actual revolutionaries were assassinated. the only people left in office are the ones that made concessions and played ball. instead of saying they did nothing or not enough recognize they did what they could it was on all of us that came after to carry on that work

if people got time to shyt on that mans legacy they need to show what they have done IN COMPARISON :yeshrug:

the only way he could have done more was to give his entire life away like

Sankara
Lumumba
etc etc.

in reality putting all that shyt on one mans shoulders is bullshyt. he did more than his part. his country men have to do the same before they get to talk down
