should be noted on another note that the dude who killed Chris Hani is dying of cancer and South Africa denied him parole at the same time on this ruling so I guess there is somewhat of a silver lining on that point

This guy was convicted for killing and ordering the torture of over 100 African people during Apartheid and after only 19 years in prison the South African government has decided to forgive him

We even have Africans making excuses for him saying "He himself was just following orders"

It's like we are living in the twilight zone or something brehs

He was nicknamed "Prime Evil" for his role in the killing and maiming of activists fighting white minority rule in the 1980s and early 1990s.

De Kock, 66, was sentenced in 1996 to two life terms in prison and a further 212 years for the crimes he committed.

De Kock confessed to more than 100 acts of murder, torture and fraud, taking full responsibility for the activities of his undercover unit.

I wouldn't care if the guy gave up the name of every single person who pulled the trigger during Apartheid... The guy would have still died in prison, There is no excuse for this murderer getting the opportunity to walk free.

That's an excellent idea. You don't go through 400+ years of slavery and oppression without some lasting mental effects. Many of us would benefit from intensive therapy to combat our racial trauma.
