Just bumping this just to say yeah Reversal edge is probably the worst mechanic in the history of fighting games. I just can't get over that the developers allowed this.
Fought a Tira today that I had dead to rights but did a quick rise into an IMMEDIATE RE. Hitting me with it before the animation of my move even finished. RE basically took half my life and he won. Sad.
And why if you block both guesses in the RE it causes immediate guard crush? WHY?! I literally can't fathom why they thought that was ok. RE already does damage if the first part lands. I just don't understand it.
