Teams not that good. I mean they may make moves at the deadline that changes that but this team is not good enough.

You can lie to yourself all you want. I’m usually positive on the Yankees but nothing about this team is saying long playoff run.

Say that shyt when they playing consistently awful. Not when they are winning at a good clip and still have ways to improve.

As of the moment the team has gotten as far as it has without its ace, with the captain and former mvp playing like shyt, and with Rizzo, Verdugo, Torres, & their catchers all hitting terribly. You figure at least 3 of those 6 will turn it around. Rizzo worries me the most though, with his getting old and coming off that concussion.

There’s definitely reasons for concern, but it’s not unreasonable to figure that judge will stop doing his Joey Gallo imitation, that Torres will get going, and that at least 1 of the 3 between Trevino, Wells, & Verdugo will get hot too. Let’s also remember that Volpe will probably get back into it soon too. All of those guys have been cold for the past week. Even on bad teams that’s not normal to have that many guys go cold.

The only one that I say is a guarantee is Judge will get going.

Torres is just a bad baseball player. Sure he’ll get hot at some point but he’s mediocre.

Boston did cart wheels to get rid of verdugo goes not a difference maker. Well for the Yankees he is because the li who last year was awful and had no lefties.

I hope I’m wrong I just don’t see it with this team.

Cole who knows obviously if he comes back and is healthy he’s a huge piece no doubt. We will say fingers crossed.

Wouldn’t expect much from DJ when he gets back if he gets back.

Dominguez I can’t wait for. Forgot we get him back at some point completely forgot about that.

They’re 7-14 at the moment. Can’t win the World Series early, but you can definitely lose it early. That’s a lot of ground to make up just to get back to .500 on the year.
