They are loafing like they don’t play in the AL East.

Bring on the trade deadline and the fire sales because moves on and off the field need to be made.

Middle of the summer is when you’re supposed to be feasting on booty ass teams and getting fat off of empty calorie wins
Everyone but Cole, Judge, and Soto needs to be available. Start preparing for next year. Only thing that would happen if this team makes the playoffs (just like 2021 and 2022) is that it would give them an excuse to not make drastic changes that need to happen.

I swear, I’ve never seen a team that hits worse with men on than the Yankees under Boone. They don’t do anything well when men are on base.

Hal needs to clear out the front office and coaching staff before Labor Day. Start the fire sale already. They don’t even compete anymore. They’ve allowed 5+ runs in 14 of the last 24 games.

My Pops Forever RIP
To oversimplify, poor farm system and Cashman sitting on his hands every off-season...
In this situation, this is on the players.

We were cool with Verdugo coming in. What's his excuse? What's Gleyber's excuse (in a walk year)? The only unfortunate part was Dominguez woulda took a spot in this lineup and never let go if he ain't get hurt again.

Cashman's biggest problem is that nobody hates the prospects he selects more than him, yet doesn't want them going anywhere else in case a smarter GM /staff figures it out, so he lets them wither.

Sell all moving parts and fire Boone and Cash.
I see fans who seem to know a lot more than me, and follow the Yankees much closer (I grew up in NY as a Yankees fan but now live down south and started fukking with the Braves as my NL team since I live close to their stadium), but what I've seen suggests that Hal cares more about selling buckets of chicken fingers than actually trying to win a title. He wants to win enough that fans still show up and spend money. Basically, get to the playoffs/wild card and if we get knocked out, that's fine.

If that is true (not saying it is, but just seeing what those who are more tuned in are saying) then I wonder what it'll really take to make those changes. TBH even if Boone gets fired, it won't make a difference if Cashman is still GM imo.

Hal and Cashman are problem #1 and #2 and yeah that is a perfect assessment of Hal. It’ll take a half empty stadium to get him to make major changes. He doesn’t care about results.
