After another series rewatch, I just realized that Phil didn't care about Vito being gay and disgracing his cousin's honor.. he just wanted to hit Tony again where he knew it would hurt. When Tony goes to talk to him about Vito jr's behavior and paying Marie some money for them to relocate, Phil basically says fukk 'em. Phil was a piece of shyt lol

Underrated episode. It’s one of the best ones that I don’t see folks talk about on here. It’s supposed to be a peaceful outing between Tone/Carm and Bobby/Janice, but you couldn’t help but feel uneasy throughout the whole thing.
yes with the full understanding that it’s intentional comedic aspects are as prevalent as the drama…I marathoned/rushed thru it a long time ago and was only looking for the dramatic moments…I didn’t pay attention to how funny it was and felt the show was overrated…this thread made me give it a second watch once I peeped how funny some of these clips were…took my time and gained a full appreciation for it…solidified it as my 2nd favorite TV show of all time…before that I looked at it as maybe top 5
