:salute: That 10 round law is pretty beat though, I've got full mag w/ 15 here in VA.

I still wouldn't mind getting a .40 compact though.

I have a glock 23 .40 cal and a CCL to carry... I only had to pull out one time...
dude with road rage flipped me the bird even he cut me off... so i blew my horn... dude followed me off the exit, and kept following me. got out the whip to see whats good,,, dude acted like he was trying to run me over, so I pulled the glock from my black hawk holster, and dude, got the fukk on.

Questin to yal NYC cats. So the nikkaz that are really bout that life don't carry straps no more? Or do nikkaz mainly keep blades and or razors?

One of my patnaz from Jersey said that the stop n frisk shyt was gettin mad nikkaz locked up for carryin that iron with them
nikkas don't give a fukk about the weapons laws or they don't educate themselves on the laws and their rights when it comes to weapons.

Cats still take that risk and carry (illegally obviously) on them and some are damn near oblivious that its MANDATORY 3 years MINIMUM for having a strap on you. God forbid if it has bodies on it. shyt, you could get stopped by a cop for going in between from one train car to another (also illegal) and a cop could invent a reason to search you. Most people don't go from car to car so this is a built in excuse to stop people who look suspicious. Most of the time it's a warning if it's a person just going to work in the morning but something as simple as that can prompt a warrant check and a pat down (frisk). That's how the dummies get caught with drugs/weapons on them.

There are still tons of guns on the streets and while people aren't necessarily getting killed by them (murders are down, think about folks getting hit in the leg/body, armed robberies, threats being made with weapons and dumbasses just showing straps off to their peoples

the thing is, in NYC it depends on the burrough you're in too..the Bronx courts are easier on guns than say Queens. Brooklyn is more lax too. I didn't know that if they find a gun in your house in NY that it's only a misdemeanor. It's when they find it out in the street on you that it becomes a felony.

Wait, what? :wtf: You mean o tell me that u can't switch train cars on the subways? That's a fineable offense? :what:

I'm in the bay and we have a subway system called Bart. You can move freely from car to car
Yeah it's a dumb "law" in the trains but most people don't do it anyway. And those who do it are too scared to go from car to car and wait til the next stop and quickly run out of the train into the next car.

went to the gun store the other day and held that .380.....it was way too tiny. But I didnt know that when I made this thread

I think I've narrowed it down to a few 1911's and maybe a Glock. Glock for home protection since they fire more rounds, and a 1911 maybe for just target practicing

some of these 1911s are too smooth to pass up :wow:

I just went and renewed my pistol permit for the next 5 years for $37.50. I paid an extra $2.50 to have the license laminated. They was going to let me renew my wife's too and she wasn't even with me. I just had to give them either her old permit, her ss#, or her birthday. She wasn't even with me.:jawalrus:

Yeah, but not always. I used to 100% of the time when I was a cop.

Anyway, to the OP, .380 is small but it has stopping power. Forget about movies and TV, a .380 can stop a person as much as a .45.
Read up on laws and gun safety. You don't want to get arrested for carrying in the wrong places, e.g. courthouse, airport, public school, and you don't want to accidentally discharge your gun.
