its not about safety. born and raised in harlem, never felt unsafe or no shyt like that. but going to the range a good amount (not in nyc) and having friends who carry in other parts of the country, makes me with i could walk into a gun shop and pick something up.

And you just reminded me, I need to renew my conceal carry pistol permit. I heard that they got it set up where you can pay for it for the next 5 years. So $7.50 x 5 = $37.50 and my pistol permit will be good until November of 2018

I carry only at home. My .12 guage is to make sure no one steps on my fukkin property. Plus tonight 2 packs of coyotes just started the sacrifice. Dumbass house dogs just joined up with either pack and the packs tore their asses up.

when i live up in the bay i got mines in sonoma county... its hard to get one if u live in the city of l.a. because u have to have a reason like someone is threaten your life... but outside the cities in other counties the sheriff departments are pro gun rights so u have a better chance

as soon as conceal carry gets legal next year here, I'll be carrying my glock 23, which is the EXACT same size as that glock 19 except in .40 S&W.

I dont know much about alot of this.....but I thought Glock was it's own brand? Smith & Wesson makes a Glock too?

used to carry a 9mm. When my brother became a cop he had my family convinced it was the way to go, then they wouldn't leave me alone. But I always felt weird or like it was unneccesary and was always afraid I would forget I had it in the wrong place. Now I keep one and a taser in a special place just because of the hood I'm in and how far our bedroom is from the bottom floor. So i feel like I have time to properly unlock and be ready to use. Otherwise, in a smaller house, I might not have time. Just not a big gun person, or 2nd amendment fanatic, but since we can, I do.

Cats still take that risk and carry (illegally obviously) on them and some are damn near oblivious that its MANDATORY 3 years MINIMUM for having a strap on you. God forbid if it has bodies on it. shyt, you could get stopped by a cop for going in between from one train car to another (also illegal) and a cop could invent a reason to search you. Most people don't go from car to car so this is a built in excuse to stop people who look suspicious. Most of the time it's a warning if it's a person just going to work in the morning but something as simple as that can prompt a warrant check and a pat down (frisk). That's how the dummies get caught with drugs/weapons on them.

There are still tons of guns on the streets and while people aren't necessarily getting killed by them (murders are down, think about folks getting hit in the leg/body, armed robberies, threats being made with weapons and dumbasses just showing straps off to their peoples

Wait, what? You mean o tell me that u can't switch train cars on the subways? That's a fineable offense?

I'm in the bay and we have a subway system called Bart. You can move freely from car to car
