i think she straight up said she thought she was in the MCU. i'm sure she got paid the bag too. the second the trailer hit she fired all her representation. i think she got lied too, but didn't do much research so it's on her too. some people still don't understand the MCU vs. the MCU adjacent shyt. her agent probably said, "Dakota, you're gonna be a staple in the Spiderman movies for a decade!" and she saw dollar signs. Same with Sydney, i bet.

I miss Spider-Man as a grown man instead of a teen. Nothing wrong with a teen Spider-Man but it's oversaturated.
