almost done with a bootleg, and this never had a prayer, but it's clearly just another movie hacked to absolute shyt. what the fukk is with quality control on comic movies these days? i'm sure a lot of older ones got edited to death too, but it's been so noticable in the past 4 or 5 years. these movies clearly start as something else then just get pieced together.

i have so many questions that i don't think i care about, but... doesn't this just kinda shyt on all Spider-man lore? who the fukk is this dude Sims that had a Peter Parker-esque spider suit? was Peter not the original Spiderman? i'm sure comics have retconned a ton of shyt and introduced an entire lineage of spiderpeople, etc, but who the fukk is this dude? These 3 spidergirls predate Peter? who the fukk is this shaman dude in Peru that looks like the Sims guy's brother? i don't wanna hear no bullshyt, "it's a different universe" shyt.
this was clearly a completely different movie. i think they said initially it was supposed to take place in the 90s. that bad guy had a much more fleshed out story, was probably Madam Web's dad or some shyt, and all the dumbass shyt with giving him a fukkin slave girl who hacks into the mainframe on some nanny state shyt was added late. clearly. i don't even know why the girls are supposed to kill him, why he needed the spider or wtf he does.

this movie doesn't land in any aspect of movie making. it's not well acted, not well written, not well directed, not well edited, nothing. no one saves it. it's not even halfway to "well" any of those things. Adam Scott is fine being Adam Scott for about 9 minutes, and everyone else sucks. i just watched it and i don't remember if the spanish girl has a single memorable second on screen, which by default makes her to 2nd best acting performance
