Depends on how they do it. Product placement always felt more immersive imo for example. I would rather my character use an actual glock, than a lookalike pistol called Bop or use real cars from actual auto manufactures rather than a knockoff.

In sports games like NBA 2k, i like being able to sign endorsement deal with gatorade or something, used to even let us film commercials in game for them. that was cool to me.

lots of ways to get ad revenue and improve the games is all i'm saying. but knowing them they'll find a way to fukk it up and make it annoying. like have a 30 sec unskippable ad evertime you load the game or soemthing.
