The sad thing is it actually happens a lot if a game is "better" for any reason on xbox. It's just been super blatant with Biomutant since it's so close to release and so clear cut from the devs.

You know what the real nutty thing is, that Returnal runs at the same resolution that biomutant does, but you wouldn't know it because they deaded that conversationThey did the same with Cyberpunk.

PS5 got some issues nobody want to talk about.
Pretty much every game has had crashing issues. Returnal devs even admitted it was something with PS5Returnal Crashing on PS5: Developer states the issue lies within the PS5 platform
Cybepunk devs caught lots of heat but it was mostly cause the PS4/PS5 version was shyt cause Sony made specific upgrades impossible for BC games.

Oh they not gone go in on returnal. It’s an “exclusive” they’ll just let the game crash and delete their saves and shyt. Spiderman was bricking whole systems. But they didn’t take to Twitter with the death threats and shyt. But they got Cyberpunk removed from the store for crashes.

The topic at hand has nothing to do with hardware capabilities. The build of the game for PS was built for the Pro, not the PS5. So calls, instruction sets, etc. don't utilize native PS5 code.
