Everything rides on Sinister Six tho. Only if Sinister Six flops, will Sony seriously consider doing something w/ Marvel. If Sinister Six is in any way successful, whether it be commercial or critical, then Sony will just go back to their original gameplan.

Agree 100 % said the same thing a couple of posts up.

I certainly don't think they are perfect but every movie you have named with the exception of Cap 1 and IM3 is better than any spiderman movie.

even then, cap1 and IM3 is levels above Spiderman3.

The truth is Sony and Fox have yet to put out one above average Marvel film.

To make your point..you went too far. First Class was top notch, weird continuity choses or not.

Disney/Marvel got Fox & Sony all fukked up trying to play catch up. :heh:

I liked the Amazing movies. Don't see a reason for any type of reboot. If they want a new actor fine, but keep it moving forward.

Nah. Its about money not rotten tomatoe scores.
Yeah it's about money, that why Sony does not desire to collab w/ Marvel and spit the money on a ASM movie. So if Sinister Six flops but is received well, it'll give Sony hope that they can produce their own movie w/o Marvel's help because people who liked the last movie will naturally go see the next. If they didn't care about critics, Sony wouldn't have scrapped the Venom movie and shelved ASM3 cuz ASM2 sold well, but had bad reviews. Sony is scrambling now not because ASM2 didn't sell well, it's because people didn't like the movie.

The only way a critically successful Spider-man flop would make Sony goto Marvel is if it flops so hard that it losses money.

Venom wasnt cancelled though. And asm3 hasnt been shelved. And sony has shown no desire ti work with marvel.

Two months ago sites were reporting sinister six was cancelled.

These sites are throwing shyt at the wall calling it a rumour and voila, click bait articles are born.

It's about money thats why sony entertaining marvel. in retrospect spidy didnt make the money up for sony expectation. So too sony they didnt do good with ASM2. SONY has talked to fox to do business with the characters but the deal wasnt good for sony. Sony and marvel have/still talking for months now. marvel really want spidy in the mcu but not that desperate that sony want to help them.

Yes , Marvel potentially are cutting deals to Have spidey in the mcu but does that mean it will happen? Nobody knows. Also Marvel actually try to cut deals with fox but fox was act like bytches
