You use books to get your kids away from tv and video games. Last thing i would want to do is make reading books part of a game too.

I would feel the same way too if I had a kid but studies have shown that people learn much faster from interactive and short form media (and its by far). The best way to learn and retain material currently is from youtube videos/short video games/etc. In the past, it used to be TV commercials

Nah, you got it backwards. The kids wanna play video games to get away from books, so bring the books to the video games.

Not a bad idea, providing they execute it right.

Im speaking from the parents perspective.

I take my nephews to the library for story time to try and get them away from the tv. They love it too. Dont want story time to be nothing more than additional video game time.
