I agree with y’all, the venom vs Spider-Man we will get will not be the one we want, a lot of the greatness of that story comes from the symbiote being with Spidey first

They can still do a version of it with Venom leaving Eddie for Spider-Man, you wouldn’t have the surprise factor, but MCU’s spidey skips over a lot to limit the amount of origin surprises.
