if we wanna take it there, the spiderman vs. venom moment has pretty much passed.It's a shame that it's still not the proper Spider-Man vs Venom we've all been wanting.
They were so disrespectful towards Venom in the first trilogy
The most interesting thing about venom was the mystery behind the symboiote and how it changed spiderman for the worse. He had never been corrupted so seeing him go bad was really compelling as well as him fighting to get rid of it. From there, the Wolverine-Sabretooth relationship between spiderman and venom is where the venom character peaked. The whole world around venom, the necrosword, the other symbiotes, have never hit like that.
Honestly i'm more interested in a wolverine-sabretooth film saga than I am a venom spiderman other than maybe Hardy being the main villian in the next spiderman movie.

we are beyond his vision and I love the first 3. I'd rather have other directors get a chance thematically.As interested as I am in a new director taking the helm, Raimi getting Spidey back would be next level crazy. That’s some 2011 wishlist shyt finally coming true.
On a podcast (i think The Big Picture) about one of the batman movies they had a good thought that the director of batman movies should pivot based on the theme of the villian. Yeah they'll be gritty because its batman [as Spiderman movies will be lighter], but if the foe is Venom or Lizard, it should be a director with a good mind for horror or suspense.
if its a story about Kingpin or Mr. Negative, id like to see someone with some criminal drama or mafia chops
Rami would be good for a SpiderGwen movie or miles morales since he has sillyness down pat and a 'sense of wonder'.

i was about to ask what’s wrong myself? Is there something I’m missing? Like do ya want this to be the last Spider-Man movie? Ya cool not doing a spidery vs venom and rather bring back electro again?? I’m confused as fukk. Thought we would all be hyped for three more fukking Spider-Man movies and not wasting time to get it going.
