8) Does anyone have the original version of The Notorious BIG's "breaking old habits" where TI's verse was slower?
during the limewire age, radio stations were playing the version where TI's verse was the same but was much slower and his bars hit a different groove on the beat....the drawl also brought out more swag to his verse (like he did on "what you know about that"). I swore I had a version on my desktop where I heard the slower verse but now I can't find it...everyone on youtube have the album version and not the early promo version. TI was relaxed in that version (and he didn't adlib talk over his own verse, yet...this version was pre-TI adlibs). I hate the official version where he was going fast to keep up with the beat and didn't enunciate much when he could have kept the slow version and rocked it like Slim Thug's verse...I know I'm not tripping. People had that promo single long before that biggie duets album came out but I can't find that version on youtube for shyt...TI's slow verse made the song longer by a full minute...ugh I deleted this version back in the days because my computer was running out of space in 2006 and I thought it was a duplicate not knowing it's was an alternative version
That shyt was like a studio alternative version leak that made it to limewire. I was on soulseek earlier trying to find promos of that uncensored, slow recording and even the "official" promo versions had T.I.'s fast verse...radio stations were getting tracks off limewire back in the days too and doing their own radio edits...I'm pretty sure diddy or somebody told T.I. to speed up his original verse
9) Does anyone have the original unmastered version of Cam'ron's "Oh Boy" where they just looped the beat?
Jim Jones/Just blaze said that Cam'ron strong armed it and looped the beat, did the song in 15 minutes, and sent the CD to Hot 97 to play. Only when after the song officially released did we hear the mastered version, but does anyone have the original looped unmastered version?
