Someone remind me why Lebron was so hated for "The Decision" in 2010?

it wasn't the fact they viewed.. i think it was more... the nerve of this nikka... the interview was wack... the way they asked and shoveled in the answer was weak... no fanfare... and he went to the heat.. it was all of it combined

but i think it was like "oh ok... lets see what he's gonna do.. this is gonna be big.... what's this dumbass interview.. ok here we go... i'm taking my talents..... ooooooooooooooooooooooooh this bytch ass nikka went and sold out... what's the other surprise?? oh there isn't one..........................................man i can't believe i wasted my time with this shyt... fukk this nikka man... he could have tweeted that... and he going to join these other nikkas.. man fukk lebron.... fukk lebron... hand me my jersey and my lighter"

you just kinda expect if someone is gonna do all that.. and do something that nobody ever did before... you expected more.. like a secret announcement someone else was coming.. or he was staying in cleveland.. or going somewhere nobody expected... to hear that was like... oh this basic ass shyt
Dog....it is the fact they viewed. Not watching it means nothing to get aggie about. It's completely tied to them being "forced" to watch and reacting to it.

Just stupid people in this world

Bruh I know u a bron Stan and all but I'm simply answering ops question.
:childplease:

I was correcting how WRONG that answer was, but hide behind calling me a Stan or whatever. Doesn't change the fact that narrative is shytty, false and one of the things cultivated to ferment that corny ass anger after the decision. Just corny all around for people to hate an athlete over.

The funniest thing about this is when people were saying how the decision would effect Brons legacy.

Nah....people in the future are going to be like the OP and ask "that's what y'all were upset over?"

It's amazing how people can stan Jay, 50, Drake, Wayne, Floyd, Broner, Tyson, Ali, Deion, pro wrestling in general etc. AND get so deeply entrenched in their feelings about a "spectacle" or "being over top" or "arrogant" or any of the other buzzwords cats wanna throw out there. :heh:. I get the "do it the right way" middle aged white crowd riding with it but I was and remain truly amazed at how many young black people jumped on that train. It's amazing how right the "racist, biased, cac" media can be when they confirm your bias.

Dumbest shyt ever that sounds more and more retarded as years go by and people are forced to explain their old "outrage" over it.

One of the dumbest things I've ever seen by sports fans.

It's because he left and chose Miami. The league heads didn't like the heat since Riley left the Knicks for them. Look at OG juwan Howard as an example. Stern grew up a Knicks fan. The league wanted the sappy ass narrative of "he's really going to try to win at home" or "he wants to take on the challenge of NYC" repeating the mindless drivel of New York being the "Mecca of basketball" and the "1 title at home or in New York is worth 4-5 in Miami" shyt. It's the same reason the league have Cleveland the top pick 3 times since he left.
Yo stfu you idiot . You stay with a us against the world mentality when it comes to the heat. Don't gimme that stern/ league hated the heat cuz that was simply not true. The ESPN machine and the league was backing the heats success the whole time. How could stern and ESPN be against that when the heat brought them ratings and more money?

Because the league wanted a villain. Go back and look at how every talking head was bashing them for teaming up and getting every other fanbase all riled up to hate the team. There's no other good reason to make their first game in Cleveland that year nationally televised when anyone who saw the cavaliers roster knew that game would be over at the half.

the biggest clowns in all of this wasn't even Lebron and his crew. it was those a$$holes at ESPN...they promoted the show, got killer ratings...then proceeded to shyt on him for years

on some "how dare he do this" type shyt:beli:

like really? yall the muthafukkas who gave him the platform!:dahell:

that's why i was glad bron said fukk ESPN and gave SI the exclusive scoop this time around

p.s. - for the record it's still fukk lebron, when the heat play him we bustin that ass on site

they even had a countdown to LeBron decision:mjlol:

How is my answer wrong? Because you don't agree with it? The fact is that a show on ESPN wasn't necessary..... He and ESPN made that shyt a big deal and that was the only thing that was corny in the first place. You probably dislike an athlete for a certain reason too. I'm not hiding behind a thing .....you like who like and their is nothing wrong with that .

You called it a pep rally "for an athlete" when it was the Heat presenting their new team to their fan base.

shyt was televised locally, grabbed and shaped nationally to the corny ass narrative you're tying to it.

You know what....

I didn't have a problem with the show. Hell, I didn't even have a problem with the pep really. I won't sit here and argue how wrong either event was. But in retrospect, I think he feels that it was unnecessary. Otherwise he wouldn't have frozen ESPN out like he did this time around. It just kinda looks like he's tryna distance himself from them.

Again, my only problem was how sneaky he did it. He could have let Gilbert know what he was doing. Same thing with Arison. Apparently they both found out the same way, when he made the announcement.

When the Heat found out he was going back, Spo said some shyt like it felt like the Show Me The Money scene from Jerry Maguire. nikkas was in straight panic mode.

This is a small detail that people overlook.. You think I watched one second of the Spurs championship parade this year? Hell naw because it wasn't for me...What would I look like willfully viewing and complaining about something like that? Thats some hoe sh1t...Dudes got caught up in voyeurism and then tried to make it about THEM, when it was about the fans of Miami...

No I called out the ESPN show . Their was nothing wrong with that pep rally except when he started proclaiming they was winning 7 ships. The ESPN show in conjunction with that statement was why most people turned on him. And you can keep callin my "narrative" corny if you want to.thats you opinion.. Idgaf . Lots of people agree with me

The worst, man. Dudes were exciting their base in a LOCALLY BROADCAST event and the national media ran with that shyt, shaped it into something else that niqqas are still regurgitating as an affront to their sport watching values.

Act like Middle Aged white males, breh
