Someone finally got to Noname, she deleted her Twitter and turned off her IG comments

It’s a stupid take. An activist like Angela Davis would never want to be adored like Beyonce in a celebrity like fashion. That’s not the goal and never has been. This girl has a lot of growing up to do. Her heart is in the right place though.

This is what happens when you have a bunch of people around you who don't keep it real with you. That twitter echo chamber (which is like 40% bots) gets these people to think they really matter out here.

Another internet weirdo that wasn’t ready for the prime time

It’s a lot easier when really nobody knew the name Noname... now when people paying attention it’s not so easy to bark at the moon

all these stupid ass Twitter buzz words like gaslighting and claiming toxic patriarchy shyt won’t save you when you just aimless taking shots at people

I knew Fatimah (noname) years ago, she's sweet, and a good writer, but had horrible social skills.
i figured she may have grown out of it since the last time we talked was years ago, but I saw her perform at a charity event last year at the Chicago theater and shes still awkward af.

Twitter really does end up amplifying the voices of a lot people who in real life are bad at dealing with other humans, because being abrasive and outlandish gets you followed and retweeted. Not saying she's a bad person by any means, she's a great open mic poet, and ok rapper who's found an audience of other angry underachievers to rally behind her. She was never going to hold up to the scrutiny of the larger audience that the J Cole situation put on her. I'm shocked she made it a week.

Repped. This is exactly what i thought, thank you for shedding more light on it

Lol damn my nikka dropped the govt. I wasn’t even go that far. But yeah, kinda similar read I got from interacting with her in the past. My connection with her was/is business whereas it seems like you know her from Chicago. I’ve crossed true pompous celebs in the past and she was one of the cooler ones. Don’t agree with some of her positions but she never treated me bad so I can’t throw stones. :ehh:
