Someone explain to me where and how the beef between West and East Africans started?

So I'm going through a rabbit hole in twitter and I stumble on this image.



Now I thought this image was funny so I read the comments, and it's a bunch of straight up racist shyt being thrown from both sides. Now the thing is that the girl who posted this image, is East African herself supposedly.



But, where did all this hate like this in the comments come from and is it reciprocated in real life?

colorism stemming from insecurity. West Africans feel like East African are snobs and arent black or represent what a black person looks like because they have heavy admixture with arab genes. Eat Africans feel like West Africans are ugly cause they dont have wavy hair, light skin and pointy noses that they got from arabs.

Its a minority of people on both sides engaging in this childish bullshyt though. Majority of black African dont give a fukk about non of that.

Exactly. Twitter represents a very very very tiny percentage of any given population. I can assure you no one of this side gives a shyt about any east African enough to have beef

This reminds of that period right after covid was announced and we briefly thought brehs were invincible/ not catching it. And we got 3straight weeks of suspicious, "look at this pawg" threads. Outright encouraging brehs to destroy themselves.



We legit bonded globally over George Flyd literally one week ago, and this stuff comes out right after?
