Someone explain to me how Patriots are so arrogant compared to other teams

Here's the whole issue. The media runs with this idea that the Pats are super respectful and humble. Always taking it one game at a time, so humble, so focused. Pats run with it too, talking about the patriot way and humble pie.

That's why when they talk trash, skip post game handshakes and skip interviews people go in on them. And other teams get more of a pass in the same situation.

Pats love to act like they're above it all, like they're so focused on winning and being classy... like they're the pure example of good sportsmanship in the league. I bet this fakkit never questions how Belichick clearly doesn't carry himself the same after a win/loss.

It seems damn near 70% of it is the media(especially the Cowherds and the Baylisses) who talk year in and year out how the Patriots are the greatest thing since sliced bread. It also doesn't help that ESPN is littered with ex-Pats analysts. On top of that every season, EVERY season for the last 7 years or so we have to hear how the Patriots are the favorites to win the Superbowl again. I expect this to start up around draft time this year.


The rest comes from arrogance on the field, preferential calls (I admit this seems to have been toned down during the last couple of years), and Spygate. It also doesn't help that Boston fans in All major sports come across as arrogant, obnoxious, racist, and at times front running.

Plus most of the best qbs in the league are arrogant (ie Big Ben, Rodgers, etc)

and if the Patriots only won those 3 superbowls due to spygate I doubt they would have made it to 2 other superbowls, people acting like that shyt is easy to do, Im sure you ask any player in the league would they love to make it to 5 super bowls in their career in win 3 they would be damn happy, when for the most part most players dont even make it to 1 superbowl
