No one is saying Jaz should have gotten a 50 cent deal,but he should have gotten a favorable one..No more No less...

record deals don't work in years.. they work in albums... and jaz had zero buzz.. so that money was a gift.. nobody was checking for a jaz-o album then or now to be giving him no damn 300k or 100k
and he was jay's man who got him in the game.. you think jay wouldn't have looked out?? he obviously was with this overpaid deal. jaz was talking bout he was WORTH MORE... like his skills garnered him more money than he was offered....

Not 700 people on earth was going to buy a Jaz-0 album...so if Jay said I will give you 5 million dollars but I own all the future profits and rights...even if it was that scandalous which I doubt...he should have cashed out.

he offered him the deal after he sold 5 million... with him on a single.. and in the video... on one of the hottest songs on the 5 million selling albumJay and them offered Jaz a bum ass deal he felt he was way below his worth so he didn't sign it, same with Sauce Money... Before Bleek dropped a debut album, Jay was their only artist, the main priority, remember Reasonable Doubt didn't sell enough for them to start signing nikkas with deals to compete with other labels... So Jaz felt slighted with the offer and opted to stay a free agent while his prime basically dwindled into obscurity minus the brief comeback, unfortunately the beef deaded him for good it seems!.......

what exactly did he do after that?? not a damn thing.. so all the people talking bout "it wasn't that much and what do you expect" like that was all he'd get...
no he'd get that... plus more exposure.. which would lead to more show $$, more feature $$, more looks and press...
what do I expect??
