Durant is a career loser, and one of the most overrated player ever. At the core durant is a volume shooter, who has low bball iq, and is highly turnover prone. He is one of the main reason OKC never won a championship while he was there. He is also the reason Golden State destroyed their team.

There is literally no excuse for him not having a championship already giving the supporting cast he had.

A good argument could be made that the sixers have the better big rotation, in theory at least. Noel is a top ten defensive big man and efficient pick and roll player, Simmons is yet to be determined but give Okafor minutes and all the touches and he'll probably command a double team. And then there's Embiid...

Ballers are playing harder and smarter on defense than ever. It's just a hell of a lot more difficult to play defense when 4/5 guys on the other team can handle the ball and hit the three, and coaches are actually running offensive sets on damn near every play.

Regular seasons bball didn't have any serious defense being played day in and day out until the 1990s. And until around the mid-2000s, that defense often "looked" a lot better only because teams were still playing a ton of isolation and simple ineffective sets, usually with 3 three-point shooters on the floor at once at most, and often only 1-2.

Hating on Westbrook this season is ridiculous. You're watching a freak of nature and possible all time great play at his peak.

He's not on a Championship team so saying you can't win with him makes no sense either.

When him and Durant played together and were healthy, OKC was a contender. It took two MVPs in Bron and Steph and the greatest regular season team in history to stop them from getting a ring.

He's a winner and has a winner's mentality. He is not a perfect player but who is?

Colangelo misplayed his hand, he should've dealt Noel and or Okafor a long time ago. On a horrible team, out of position no less, Noel averaged 14/10/2/2/1.5 per 36 on better efficiency while putting up historic sophomore defensive stats. Whoever gets him and pays him the max will rob the sixers.

The backlash against Colangelo when he trades Noel for late first or a couple second rounders is gonna be biblical.
