That's something he will learn to fix with more experience...He's gonna improve,:merchant:he aint even near his peak yet
He's been in the league for eight years now, Westbrook is who he is. The fact that he didn't improve his basketball is after magic damned his 2012 finals performance speaks to his capability for improving his tactical ability.

Hating on Westbrook this season is ridiculous. You're watching a freak of nature and possible all time great play at his peak.

He's not on a Championship team so saying you can't win with him makes no sense either.

When him and Durant played together and were healthy, OKC was a contender. It took two MVPs in Bron and Steph and the greatest regular season team in history to stop them from getting a ring.

He's a winner and has a winner's mentality. He is not a perfect player but who is?

He's also playing with a weak roster and most guys (save for Oladipo who's been injured) can't really create their own offense :manny:

Why would you want to leave a team with a player this good? Because he makes WOAT decisions over and over while having a top-2 player in the league on the court with him?

Westbrook's basketball IQ and outside shooting are his two big weaknesses. Making 2 threes in one game does not make up for all the ones he's missed over the last five years. His defense isn't consistently good either.
Last playoffs I saw the disgust on Durant's face when Westbrook choked games away. I knew it was over. I aint even mad at him

Westbrook doesn't have a "Kobe mentality"...

This guy plays 100 miles per hour and wants to murder you on every play he's not very calculated. There's never been anything like Westbrook. He is easily the most athletic and explosive guard in the history of the game. Dude is extremely demonstrative too tons of attitude on the court sometimes does shyt that can be considered dirty.

With that being said his mentality leads to poor decision making and he's a poor outside shooter who loves to take threes on volume and most are poor shot selection. His stats are inflated and the team absolutely lives and dies with him. He takes 24 shots a game and he's only hitting on a 43% clip and he's averaging 5 turnovers. He is surrounded by strong defenders and has such an offensive burden that he takes plays off on defense and sometimes acts as a free safety off-ball. Every game he'll come through with a freakish defensive play to remind us of his potential. In the clutch his poor decision making leads to TO's and he's a vertical player who feasts on getting to the rack and quick midrange pull-ups he's not an effective player if you're looking for clutch buckets IMO. Every once in a while he does miraculous shyt off pure intangibles and guts but he's not near the clutch players at his position like Irving, Conley, Lowry, Lillard, etc. He is not a game manager.

He has a high % of uncontested rebounds and he snatches boards from teammates. The system is built for him to start the break. Most of his assists are interior passes when defenses collapse on him and transition action he's not like a LeBron or Harden who are P&R maestros and unbelievable at hitting three point shooters and initiating ball movement. Don't let those high assists totals fool you.

Westbrook is an enigma, beast player but very flawed not a guy you'd ever win a chip with.

No lies were told. :whew:

And remember too, it was DURANT that choked when they lost to GS... not Westbrook.

Westbrook plays like the guy on 2k that always turbo.

Gamers like that be having Niqqas like

"that's fake u will get tired in real life"

Ur my player average a triple double

"u must be playing on rookie"

"that's unrealistic for a 6'3 pg to avg 11 rebs"

Matter of fact the whole NBA is video gamey

60 threes in a game

Playing players out of position just cause they can shoot

GM's/CPU allowing super teams to form easy af

It's a video game era we are in now
