lol

I KNEW the 92 bricks shiit would come up..

Look here faqqits..

Ross is an average ass rapper..non creative, stole some REAL street dude's ID..keeps spitting the same damn verses on every album he makes..but hey..he "has a great ear for beats"

His next album will sound EXACTLY the same as this one..

:stylin::thumbsdown:

Damn so you predicting Ross gonna drop another classic with his next album?:myman:

Its make no sense. I can understand sum people not liking Ross music but the same shyt they say about him applys to so many rappers. G raps my 2nd favorite rapper ever but he's been talkin that mafia don shyt since forever and his subject matter has never changed but you won't ever hear anybody criticize him for it

KGR literally started this mafia rap shyt, plus from stylistic advances (vivid storytelling, multisyllabic rhyme patterns) to being a part of the juice crew...he just brought a lot more to the table than hopping on some great beats and throwing the who's-who of mainstream hip-hop on his albums...it's an asinine comparison in the least

Like I said in the other thread yesterday...

all these biggie comparisons, i still ain't heard one classic.....at least that man dropped an indisputable classic at 21. ross pushing 40 and still making BMF and Mafia Music over and over again. shyt is kinda embarrassing.

Being a legend takes a lot more than just name-dropping and aligning yourself with them. You ain't fooling nobody, nikka.

DTR is his best album to me.

But the whole "I don't understand what yall see in Ross shtick" is laughable.

Like there are alot of artists I don't feel, but for the most part I can separate me not feeling their music and still get how other people could feel them.

Like I can listen to and recognize the value in their music & the talent they possess. So my thing is even if you legitimately don't dig Ross music, I don't see how you can listen and not recognize as a hiphop fan that there is something there.

I mean we not talking about Lil B or Da Juiceman or Waka Flocka or Plies or Soulja Boy or some shyt here.

:wtb: I'm not comparing Ross and G Rap as rappers cuz G rap is obviously better. I used G rap as a example of sumbody who's subject matter has never changed to this day which is the main thing people in here critizing Ross for

Which is why successors such as Nas, Jay and Scarface had easily surpassed him by the tail end of the 90's. He definitely paid the price for that.

People are allowed to have their own lanes.

these cats don't know what they like.. like Loose said, Biggies short career was filled with ducktales of being a don, selling weight, etc.. same with Raekwon, and a host of other cats..

Ross does it, and cats in here snapping their fingers like females.. these kind of threads only show how pitiful, and fickle hip-hop fans are.. Im convinced most of these cats on this board, really don't even like hip-hop.. all they do is complain about the shyt..

And 2Pac was in the school of perfoming arts. His whole persona is fabricated.

Pac bucked at cops..beat up people before Bishop was even a character and was a real ass dude.

Meanwhile we condone a fat ass, id stealing, C.O. turned drug kingpin
