I’ve been researching old boy: I like that his offense actually goes under center at times. Y’all know I wasn’t feeling Briles and this high school ass offense. If he can have a special teams as good at FSU as he had at Memphis, he will be successful.

I don't want to speak ill of the guy, in fact I think he will succeed at FSU if given the time. My issue was always the noise surrounding the program when Willie was here, and I'm willing to bet my life savings you won't hear the same noise with Norvell. Every beat writer and fan felt they knew more than Willie. They all had an opinion on who Willie should hire as coordinators, who should be starting at QB, what defense they should run, how he should run his official recruiting events, how he should give up play calling and be a CEO type coach, etc. I guarantee these clown ass cacs are about to get out of Norvell's way and let him fukking coach. I listened to the Nolecast and Bud said he didn't have any expectations for next season, and in fact doesn't think they'll make a bowl. That's odd. Cause when Willie took over a team that needed to reschedule a game to be bowl eligible and was facing a schedule loaded with ranked teams, the expectations in year 1 were still there. I wonder why a man taking over a bowl eligible team, with all the knuckleheads from the Jimbo regime cycled out, gets a mulligan and even have the bar lowered to not making a bowl in year 1? The beat can post opinions of idiots like Jim Mora shytting on Willie, but I've yet to hear anyone speak on the elephant(s) in the room, (the gambling and banging co-eds). They're all in lock step and the energy around the program seems different already. Also hearing a lot of them begging the fans to get behind the hire. This after watching the fanbase organically gravitate towards Willie and fill up the stadium for a spring game and them constantly trying to convince the fans not to support him or the team. At least Norvell gave a tip of the cap to Willie and praised the foundation he laid in his presser, but while these cacs tried to absolve Jimbo of his doings when Willie showed up, now they'll be constantly comparing everything good that happens to Willie, and blaming everything bad on Willie. Watch.
